Century Sales & Management, LLC hasn't felt the least bit slow since Alan Dawson walked in the doors last summer.  Alan has had 14 transactions since September 2009-which in this market is absolutely incredible.

One of the transactions Alan was involved in was leasing a space for Jim Wickless and his partners located at 6701 L Street.  When we asked Wickless what it was like working with Alan, he said, "Alan did an amazing job with a really slow market.  He counseled us as to what different alternatives we might offer to make the lease more attractive.  During the listing and leasing of our space, he handled everything from soup to nuts."

When Alan lists a property, he not only gives you advice on what the market value of your property is, but he also is heavily involved in the marketing process.  He makes sure that the square footage is correct, and strategizes a marketing plan to gain the best exposure for the property to find the right, qualified buyer or tenant. 

Wickless goes on to say, "Alan is a remarkable guy who is down to earth.  He's perfectly straight forward and really knows what he's doing.  He negotiated the lease to our satisfaction and I never once doubted that he was our advocate, looking out for our best interest.  He is such a professional and it shows."

Alan has also help David Barnes lease his building and says, "Alan did a nice job showing the property and keeping us information.  If I had to sum up my experience with Alan, I would say he's very personable, prompt and professional."

Multi-talented

Alan is not only talented in real estate, he has quite a few other passions as well.  He's quite the bow hunter.  He has hunted down a black bear in British Columbia, a red stag in New Zealand, wild boar in Texas and Oklahoma, deer and turkey in the Midwest.  He also loves to fish with his 14 year old son, Connor and travel the world biking with his wife, Monica.  They have biked in France, Thailand, New Zealand, and Italy.  In 2011, they plan on hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and hunt cape buffalo.  Alan is a very talented chef and always takes cooking classes in the various places he visits.
